Today this little site passed it’s first 20,000 views. I little thought, seven months ago, when I started this experiment that it would attract so much interest. So a Vote of thanks to all who have taken time out of their frenetic lives to stop by and have a look. Extra thanks to those of you who have made the effort to comment – it makes any effort I put in worthwhile – there is somebody out there after all!

Thanks also to my fellow inhabitants of blogdom, in particular Gav of intheboatshed who is unstinting in his support and consistently tops my referers list.

This site was really just a little learning experiment I embarked on to see if I could get to grips with a webby presence, I wanted to contribute in some way to the ukhbbr revamped website but wished to make any mistakes elsewhere. I am glad to say that the whole exercise has proved far easier than I expected, due in no small part to the fantastic set of tools that WordPress give you to play with, and all free to boot! So I guess the last vote of thanks goes to wordpress.com without whom my trip in ego massage would not have been possible.
