Boats surplus to requirements
I have this obsessive compulsion to keep building boats (although this may be being cured with the latest). Since I am not, and unlikely ever to be, a sailor/paddler they do not get used adequately and I need to recognise that I am running out of space to store the things. The RCD means that ‘Polly’s Folly’ has to wait around until June 2009 for her fifth birthday when she can be legally transferred to a new owner should one appear, I shall be glad to see the back of her, not the right boat for me. In the meantime I am allowed to dispose of the two Humble Bees, for some reason the RCD deems them to be ‘safe’ because they are small!! Equally ’safe’ are the canoes. So if you are attracted to, in need of, just like the look of, or for whatever reason want one of these redundant boats contact me via the form at the bottom of the page. I am hoping to recover the cost of the materials but you could always try an offer, they are all pretty well as new and it would be nice to see them doing what they were built for. The stories of the builds are told in the subsections of the little green shed at some length. Lots of snaps so you can see how they went together.

Admire your work! do you have any canoes for sale? Although details of anything available would be of interest.

Hi Garry,
Glad you like the end result. Currently available are: Polly’s Folly, with trailer (She is now over five years old so it’s now OK to transfer ownership according to my understanding of the RCD), The two Humble Bee prams, Scotch Mist, and Stangarra. All have had very little use.
